You know, three years ago i blogged. Sometimes i wonder with my eccentric personality, how on Earth i blogged about"Law"...well i did and i hated it. I still remember, there was this dude (lawyer i think) strongly advised me, "NEVER TO PRACTICE IN MALAYSIA" and there you demotivated and i stopped blogging.
I suppose, over the time you grow up and take life experiences with a pinch of salt and maybe with a baby shooter of Mexican tequila. Life na? and here i am, blogging to the view of world at large of my ultimate ecstasy, Food.
Just few days ago i was thinking, is my blog being read by anyone? Anyone? I was even thinking abut bringing down my blog post and probably sulk to my best friends how empty my life is and an old high school mate of mine posted on my facebook wall page encouraging me to continue writing and wishing me all the best. That did make my day and that was indeed a motivation for me. Thank you, Logeni Rajaratnam.
Of course, all great people out there that has read my blog spot thus far. I thank you from the bottom most chamber of my heart. Thank you....
Food blogging culture in Malaysia dominantly focuses on "posh" eateries that's mushrooming in Kuala Lumpur and all over Peninsular Malaysia. In my humblest opinion, our food culture does not comprise of "posh eateries", that is certainly not what i remember?
Just a thought to share, when i was a child, (an adorable one too), my morning breakfast during weekends will usually be a mamak stall, Warong Atan. It will usually be roti canai, nasi lemak sambal ayam or roti telor bawang and teh tarik pekat. "Cekap" i must say.
That is something irreplaceable even im served Egg Benedict with THE MOST EXPENSIVE Truffle shaving n it and served by Jason Segel, na ah, thank you very much, ill have my "local kena fix" anytime.
I personally feel there are not much writers around that has sticked around to write about our, Malaysia cheap and affordable delights available in right under your nose. This is what i have observed thus far reading numerous Malaysian foodies blog spot for quite sometime now. (This statement is put forward with a humbly apology if at it sounds rude and uncouth-full.)
Anyway, thank you again.
I shall hunt down the best and cheap local fares that Malaysia that has to offer to everyone. If RM 50.00 feed at least three stomach's heartily, you know your in for the best!
